Speedplay Zero DLC Titanium pedals

Description

With the transfer of ownership to Wahoo, many cool Speedplay products have been discontinued. This also includes the high-end Speedplay Zero Titanium variants. If you are a performance oriented cyclist, this is a shame, as the best performing product that combines reduced aerodynamic drag and low weight is no longer offered by Wahoo.

While there are some aftermarket titanium spindle and step plate upgrade options available, basically all of them feature only cosmetic anodization and thus lack a hard surface that would prevent excessive wear. To go around this problem, we have drawn inspiration from motorsport. We applied a super hard diamond-like-carbon coating to all the contact surfaces of the pedal. This process makes it as durable as the original steel counterparts, while also offering significant weigh reduction.

To top it all off, we also offer the option of a ceramic bearing upgrade with low contact seals. This option is most suitable for race use, and might require regular servicing, depending on the riding conditions.
