Continental AERO 111: The next generation of aerodynamic road bike tyre performance, developed in close cooperation with the experts from DT Swiss and Swiss Side. The AERO 111 is based on the race-proven technologies of the GP5000 TR series and sets new standards in aerodynamics. The race-optimized Black Chili Compound ensures excellent grip and lower rolling resistance, while the proven Vectran Breaker provides puncture protection.The patented, aerodynamically optimized tread design is equipped with 48 precision-moulded air chambers. These so-called “vortex generators” create controlled turbulence, which means that the airflow sticks to the rim for longer, reducing drag and optimizing handling in crosswinds.
