Description
We recommend using angled armrest spacers for aerobar setups with high hand positions. You can use them to maximize pad contact with your elbows and thus increase stability and comfort.
There are two bolt options available: the most common type are the standard spacers for bolts that are spaced inline with the extension (ie the same plane as the top tube).
Alternatively, you will need horizontal armrest spacers for bolts that follow the same plane as the base bar. This includes but is not limited to Trek/Bontrager, Profile Design (including Scott), Specialized Shiv Tri (not TT) and others. Please remove your arm rests to check bolt location and whether you require horizontal or standard spacers.
You can use the angled spacers with both Align Wing arm rests as well as pads from other manufacturers. Please use flat headed (not tapered or V headed) bolts with the angled washers.
We recommend completing your cockpit setup with our selection of aerobar extensions.
