The Cervélo S5 five black frameset 2026 is designed for demanding cyclists seeking maximum aerodynamic performance. With a sharp design and geometry tailored for speed, this frame incorporates the iconic visual codes of the S5: integrated V-stem, bayonet fork, and fluid lines optimized for efficiency. 6.3 watts faster and 124 grams lighter than its predecessor, this frame retains the balance, stability, and maneuverability for which the platform is renowned. It provides the ideal basis for a custom, race-oriented build.

Aerodynamics

The 2026 S5 boasts a 6.3-watt gain over the previous version. This increased performance is due to extensive work on the front of the frame, particularly on the fork legs and head tube, but also to the integration of asymmetric profiles on the seat tube and rear wheel. Cervélo estimates that this frame is at least 5 watts faster than its main competitors.

HB19 handlebar and aero position

The HB19 carbon one-piece cockpit incorporates the “Plus-Four” concept: the width at the hoods is 4 cm narrower than at the bottom of the handlebar, which helps reduce aerodynamic drag without compromising stability when descending or sprinting. All dimensions comply with the latest UCI regulations.

Weight reduction

Despite a larger frontal area, the S5 2026 frame boasts a weight reduction of 124 grams thanks to optimized carbon layup and adjustments to structural components.

Reserve 57|64 wheel compatibility

The S5 was developed in collaboration with the Reserve brand to get the most out of the 57|64 wheelset. The asymmetry of the rear wheel follows the profile of the seat tube for smoother airflow and a gain of 3 watts compared to the 52|63 wheels, without any additional weight.
