SpeedBox 1.0 for Shimano (E8000, E7000, E6100, E5000)

Description

Basic tuning kit for your e-bike with a Shimano motor.

The SpeedBox 1.0 allows you to double the speed limit of your e-bike from the original 25 km/h to 50 km/h. When in use, the actual speed is displayed on the display up to 22 km/h. Then the speed indicator stabilizes and still shows the same value even at higher speeds.

The electric motor assistance is switched off when a speed of 50 km/h is reached.

How does the SpeedBox 1.0 work?

Unless you have lights on your bike, the SpeedBox 1.0 for Shimano will be activated at all times. If lights are fitted to your bike, you will be able to switch on the tuning chip as required. The SpeedBox 1.0 tuning kit is activated on the control panel of your bike. If the lights are off, you can reach a speed of 50 km/h. The chip can be easily deactivated by switching on the lights.

Assembly
After connecting the SpeedBox chip to your e-bike, you will find the connectors color-coded to make installation very easy. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make the installation easier for you. Removing our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any problems with installation or removal, please feel free to contact us.

If you plan to install the SpeedBox on a brand new bike, be sure to ride it for at least 1 km until the chip is activated.
