The Carb Only Drink Mix is easier to take in when you’re breathing hard (as there’s no chewing involved!) and it’s ideal when you need to keep your hands free. It’s also useful if you have a nervous stomach before races and struggle to get solid calories in.

The Carb Only Drink Mix is designed to be flexible, so you can fuel for the work required. You can mix it up to deliver 30 – 120g of carb per litre, then add our low-cal Precision Hydration Tablets or swallow Electrolyte Capsules to hit your sodium numbers.

Tailor your bottles to the conditions and work required using this guide:
- Mix 1 scoop into 500ml of water to deliver 15g of carb per 500ml (30g of carb per litre)
- Mix 2 scoops into 500ml of water to deliver 30g of carb per 500ml (60g of carb per litre)
- Mix 3 scoops into 500ml of water to deliver 45g of carb per 500ml (90g of carb per litre)
- Mix 4 scoops into 500ml of water to deliver 60g of carb per 500ml (120g of carb per litre)
Using Carb Only Drink Mix enables you to increase the carb content of your bottles when you’re drinking less fluid in cooler conditions and decrease it when it’s hot and you’re drinking more fluid.
For an ideal mix, fill your bottle to about 1/3 full with water, add the drink mix and shake vigorously. Then top it up with water, before a final shake.
